REPORT! MMA Bill Fails In NY… Again
It looks like the battle for New York is over, and MMA loses again.
According to reports from Jim Genia, a MMA reporter from NY and legal expert Michael Kim, the bill to get MMA legalized in New York is dead, again.

It seemed like there was a lot of momentum going into it this year, UFC champ Chris Weidman even took to Twitter to contact everyone from The Rock to President Obama to rally support for the bill. Unfortunately, it was just timing that killed the chances of the bill getting passed.
According to Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Morelle, who sponsored the bill, told Gannett’s Albany Bureau, via Politics on The Hudson,
“My big challenge today is that a number of members who are counted as supporters were just unavailable today because of the scheduling, that we weren’t expected to be here this long.”
“And it’s really complicated efforts to get to 76. I think it’s looking less likely as the day wears on.”
We’ll do this again next year folks.
