Robbie Lawler allegedly injured, status unknown for UFC 195 title fight with Carlos Condit (update)
UPDATE:
Multiple sources are denying any injuries suffered by Robbie Lawler. It is currently unknown on who “Lawler’s representative” was from the Facebook page that posted their statement regarding the injury.
Robbie Lawler isn’t injured.

UFC officials have still not commented on Lawler.

The UFC welterweight championship fight between champion Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit at UFC 195 could be on the fritz. Lawler apparently suffered an injury during training and has not been cleared to fly by his doctor, according to a representative of Lawler. “Ruthless” was scheduled to make an appearance at Warrior Fight Store Inc., and they released the following statement on their Facebook page:
We regret to inform our customers that Robbie Lawler Event HAS BEEN CANCELLED. The following news that has been passed on to us by Robbie Lawler’s Representative: “Robbie Lawler has suffered an injury this week during training…and has not been cleared to fly by his doctors”. We at Warrior Fight Store sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. This situation surfaced only hours ago and was completely out of control. We have made every attempt to pass this information on as quickly as possible. Subsequently we would like to offer our customers two options……… 1) Full refund immediately in the form in which the payment was made. (e transfers/credit card refunds can be offered over the phone to avoid any further inconvenience) 2) Offer store credit that surpasses you ticket value to simply say sorry. 30.00 ticket = 50.00 gift card 50 ticket = 75.00 gift card We have a complete list of all of the tickets purchased please feel free to call or swing by to arrange your refund. MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani tweeted the following claiming to have spoken with sources very close to Lawler:
Spoke to 2 sources very close to Lawler within last hour, both say FB post that he’s injured is inaccurate. 1 said he even sparred tonight.

As of this writing, Lawler’s camp has yet to release any further information, and UFC officials have not released any statements regarding Lawler’s injury or the status of his fight with Condit at UFC 195.
