Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit Rescheduled For UFC 195
After being pulled from UFC 193 with a thumb injury, it looks like Robbie Lawler will now be ready to defend his welterweight title against Carlos Condit at UFC 195, which will take place on Jan. 2.
The news was announced by the UFC late on Wednesday night. Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm was originally scheduled for UFC 195, but was moved when Lawler vs. Condit couldn’t happen in November.
Now everything is rescheduled and basically the two title fights just switched places.
Lawler is coming off of a epic war with Rory MacDonald, where he ended up stopping him in the fifth round.
Condit is coming off of an impressive win himself. After being out for a while he retuned against Thiago Alves and busted his nose badly with elbows, leading to a doctors stoppage.
It was expected that Johny Hendricks was going to get the next crack at the title, but the UFC ended up going with ‘The Natural Born Killer.’
Who do you have winning this war?
