Robert Drysdale Still In UFC Despite Rumors He Had Been Cut
Robert Drysdale failed his second drug test after his win at the TUF 19 finale. The failed drug test marked the second failed test in his UFC career. Prior to his UFC debut in 2013, Drysdale failed a drug test for elevated testosterone levels, and as a result his debut bout was cancelled. Drysdale was given another chance in 2014 when he fought Keith Berish at the TUF 19 finale, after that bout he failed a drug test for elevated testosterone levels again.
After the UFC Macau a media member asked Dana White if Drysdale had been cut to which he replied that he was “pretty sure” Drysdale had been cut.
MMAJunkie confirmed today that Drysdale in fact hadn’t been cut, Tweeting:
Just confirmed with a UFC official that Robert Drysdale has NOT been cut yet from the promotion despite Dana saying he thought he was.

The key word in that statement is “yet” after two failed drug tests, it is extremely likely that Drysdale will be cut.
