Rogan and Schaub discuss why Aldo’s body looked different

At UFC 194 Jose Aldo was KO’d by Conor McGregor in just 13 seconds to lose the UFC featherweight championship, ending his 10 year unbeaten streak, and his nearly 5 year title reign in the UFC. After the bout, Aldo was understandably heartbroken backstage.

During the fight, Joe Rogan left his mic on, and he could be heard saying that Jose Aldo looked deflated and different from all of his other fights.

On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan and Brendan Schaub spoke about Aldo’s appearance at UFC 194 in comparison to his other fights.

Rogan pointed out some interesting things:

“The tried to test Aldo in camp, and Aldo’s people had the cops pulled on these people, they wanted to get them kicked out of the country. They were trying to deport them out of the country. Then when they finally did give them a urine sample, he tripped and spilled his piss. That’s insane. I never tripped and spilled piss in my entire career, and I pissed in cups all the time.”

Brendan Schaub agreed with Rogan, and pointed out that Aldo’s camp hasn’t done so hot since random drug testing began.

“you’re batsh*t crazy if you don’t think Jose Aldo’s body looked different. You’re batsh*t crazy if you think he’s gonna fight the same. […] His camp, I think, is 1-7, 0-8 since this drug testing came out. So you’re talking about a different fighter man.”
