Roland Delorme let go by the UFC
Canadian bantamweight fighter “Stunning” Roland Delorme (9-4, 1 NC MMA) has received his walking papers from the UFC.
The former TUF 14 competitor went 3-3 with 1 no-contest during his time with the promotion. He scored victories over Josh Ferguson, Nick Denis and Edwin Figueroa while a part of the UFC’s bantamweight division.
Delorme was last seen in the octagon at August’s UFC Fight Night event in Macau, China, where he suffered a submission loss to Japanese standout Yuta Sasaki.
The product of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada took to his Facebook page to announce the news:
“Well I got cut from the UFC but I ain’t worried bout nothing not like I didn’t expect it but I thought if they were gonna do it they would have by now. I wanna thank everyone who supported me And the UFC but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop fighting, I’ll be back in a couple wins.”
