Ronda Rousey Makes Forbes Top 10 Highest Paid Female Athletes List
The UFC have bonafide superstar on their hands and I’m not talking about Conor McGregor. Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey isn’t just a dominant force inside the octagon, she’s now starting to transcend the sport by landing major parts in feature films and writing a New York Times Best Selling book.
But even without all the added accomplishments, Rousey’s achievements in the sport of MMA were enough to land her on the Forbes top 10 Highest-Paid Female Athletes in the World for 2015.
Rousey debuted on the list for the first time at number no. 8 with $6.5 million in earnings. That number is made up of her fighter pay and endorsements she has, which include Reebok, Metro PCS, Monster headphones, Buffalo David Bitton, and Carl’s Jr.
Who made the top of the list? Tennis player Maria Sharipova, who has been the top earner for the last 11 years, with $29.2 million.
Do you think Rousey will ever top the list?
