Ronda Rousey’s Not Playing, Ready To Make Example Of Correia
UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey says she will not be looking for a quick finish against Bethe Correia and instead wants to use her to make sure other fighters don’t try some of the things she did.
As in, make comments about Rousey’s family. Correia made a comment a while back about Rousey killing herself after she loses. Rousey’s father committed suicide when she was young and she took the comment very personally. Now, she wants to make an example of Correia at UFC 190.
Here’s what she said during a recent media event to promote the fight:
“To bring my family into it, they don’t deserve that, and they didn’t ask for that. And I need to make sure that nobody else tries that ever again.”
“I think that her actually pretending that she didn’t know to save face was just as insulting as what she said in the first place.”
