Rose Namajunas vs. Angela Hill set for UFC 192

A women’s strawweight bout between Rose Namajunas and Angela Hill is the latest addition to October’s UFC 192 event in Houston.

UFC officials announced the booking today via the Houston Chronicle.

Rose Namajunas (2-2 MMA) will fight for the first time since December of 2014 when she squares off with Angela Hill in Texas. “Thug Rose” was defeated by Carla Esparza via submission in the tournament final of “TUF 20” this past winter.

Meanwhile, Angela Hill (2-1 MMA) will be looking to rebound, this after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Tecia Torres in her most recent outing at UFC 188. Prior the setback, “Overkill” was coming off a decision victory over Emily Kagan at December’s “TUF 20 Finale” event in Las Vegas.

UFC 192 takes place October 3 live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The event is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between current champ Daniel Cormier and challenger Alexander Gustafsson.
