Rousey on Cyborg: She’s a proven cheater and fraud

By Chris Taylor - February 18, 2014

UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey recently talked to FOX Sports about a potential fight with Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg.

According to “Rowdy,” Cyborg wants a huge payday for the fight, so that she can retire after losing:

“She knows she’s gonna get beat by me,” Rousey told FOX Sports. “It has to be such an amount of money for her to be able to retire off it. I don’t know if that offer is ever going to come.”

Rousey went on to call Cyborg a cheater and a fraud:

“She’s a proven cheater and fraud,” Rousey says. “Women’s MMA is doing just fantastically without her.”

Cris Cyborg has struggled to remain active as of late, competing just three times since June of 2010. In 2011, Cyborg saw her victory over Hiroko Yamanaka overturned to a no-contest after she tested positive for stanozolol. The positive test resulted in Cyborg missing the entire 2012 campaign due to suspension.
