‘Rowdy’ Calls Out Paige VanZant

UFC strawweight Paige VanZant is coming off of another dominating performance at UFC 191 this past Saturday, this time over TUF 20 competitor Alex Chambers. She beat her up for almost three full round before locking in an armbar in the third round.

There really hasn’t been much to pick at as far as her fights. She keeps a high pace which makes it difficult for her opponents to really do anything.

Dana White, after the fight fight, said she’ll probably be taking on someone in the top five soon, but at this time there’s no one in particular linked to fighting VanZant next.

Obviously she’s a big name and it would be in the benefit of other fighters who are trying to make their own way up the rankings. So it’s no surprise that since her fight plenty of UFC strawweights have been campaigning for a match up with the Team Alpha Male fighter.

First it was Randa Markos, who took to twitter and asked her followers who she should fight next. It was overwhelmingly VanZant’s name who popped up in all the tweets she re-tweeted.

Then, ‘Rowdy’ Bec Rawlings jumped in and put her name in the hat, asking VanZant what she has going on on Jan. 17, for UFC Fight Night 81.
