Cormier Jones

We’re just hours away from seeing Anthony Johnson vs. Daniel Cormier at UFC 187, but Johnson’s camp says they’ve known what Cormier was planning on doing since they accepted the fight.

Johnson’s striking coach on the Blackzilians, Henri Hooft, talked on The MMA Hour this past Monday and said there isn’t any secrecy to what Cormier wants to do in the fight.

“We know what he’s gonna do. With Jon, you kind of know, but he’s more creative stand-up wise. He has these side kicks, the kicks to the legs. Again, we prepare for that also. For me, it doesn’t really, really mater. But I think ‘DC’ is a good matchup for ‘AJ.’ Jon Jones, also. I think we kind of know what [Cormier] is gonna do. No secrets.”

Do you think the predictability will help Johnson beat Cormier and become the new UFC light-hevyweight champion?
