The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale Medical Suspensions Report | UFC NEWS
Last Saturday’s TUF 16 Finale event took place from The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
In the main event Roy Nelson successfully dispatched Matt Mitrione in the very first round.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission issued 10 medical suspensions to the evenings participants.
The list is as follows:
Matt Mitrione: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 for precautionary reasons
Shane Del Rosario: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15
Pat Barry: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared early by an orthopedic doctor for a possible right foot fracture
James Head: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 due to a right upper eyelid laceration
Marcos Vinicius: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared by an ENT doctor for a right infraorbital rim fracture and anterior right maxillary sinus and nasal fractures; minimum suspension through Feb. 14 with no contact in training until Jan. 30
Vinc Pichel: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared early by an orthopedic doctor for a possible left foot fracture; minimum suspension through Feb. 14 with no contact in training until Jan. 30
Nick Catone: Suspended until Jan. 15 with no contact in training until Jan. 6 for precautionary reasons
Reuben Duran: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 for precautionary reasons
John Cofer: Suspended until June 15 unless cleared early by an orthopedic doctor for a possible right shoulder injury
Jared Papazian: Suspended until Jan. 30 with no contact in training until Jan. 15 due to a laceration above the left eye
