Thiago Alves Injured, Removed From Fight Night 49
After one of the most successful Octagon Returns in UFC history, Thiago Alves will be sidelined yet again, this time so the Pitbull can recover from a knee injury, which will not require surgery according to an ATT representative who spoke to MMAJunkie earlier today.
His opponent, Jordan Mein, will now face 11-1 Brandon Thatch, who is 2-0 in his UFC career.
No word on how long Alves will be out.
