Tito Ortiz Makes His Prediction for Aldo/McGregor
Jose Aldo is set to defend his UFC Featherweight Championship against Conor McGregor at UFC 189. While the pay-per-view is set to be the biggest of the year, and quite possibly the biggest in company history, there is a slight chance the fight may not even happen.
Aldo suffered a rib injury while training for his fight in the middle of June and could possibly not be medically cleared for the fight. The decision will be made on July 10th and Chad Mendes is on call to take the fight against McGregor on short notice. As of right now, though, the fight between Aldo and McGregor is set to take place
Bellator light heavyweight and former UFC champion Tito Ortiz was recently asked about who he thought would walk out of the octagon as champion. “If Aldo isn’t hurt and he can still fight, I say Aldo. We’ll see,” said Ortiz in a recent video on MMA Digest.
Do you agree with Ortiz? If Aldo is healthy, does he easily take the fight or will McGregor put up a good challenge? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
