‘TUF: 21 Finale’ Medical Report: ‘Karate Hottie’ Might Face 6 Month Suspension

Fans were treated to a whole weekend of UFC action, with UFC 189 going down on Saturday and the ‘TUF 21 Finale’ taking place on Sunday. The finale had some really exciting fights and finishes, including Stephen Thompson’s highlight reel spinning heel kick that put Jake Ellenberger down.

We also saw the successful debut of ‘The Karate Hottie’ Michelle Waterson, as she submitted Angela Magana in the third round of their scrap. Unfortunately, both fighters could be on the sidelines for 6 months.

Here’s the full medical suspension list from the Nevada Athletic Commission:

• Stephen Thompson: Requires right heel x-rayed and, if positive, suspended until Jan. 12, 2016; minimum suspension no contest until Aug. 12, no contact until Aug. 3
• Michelle Waterson: Requires right hand x-ray, if positive suspended until Jan. 12, 2016; minimum suspension no contest until Aug. 12, no contact until Aug. 3.
• Kamaru Usman: Requires left rib cage x-ray to rule and left knee evaluated — if either positive must be cleared by doctor or suspended until Jan. 12, 2017; minimum suspension no contest until Aug. 12, no contact until Aug. 3
• Vicente Luque: Requires right hand third metacarpal x-rayed and, if positive, suspended until Jan. 12, 2016; minimum suspension no contest until Aug. 12, no contact until Aug. 3.
• Caio Magalhaes: Requires nose x-ray, if positive suspended until Jan. 12, 2016; minimum suspension no contest until Aug. 27, no contact until Aug. 12.
• Trevor Smith: Requires left hand second x-ray, if positive suspended until Jan. 12, 2016
• Dan Miller: Requires nasal fracture cleared by doctor or suspended until Jan. 12, 2016
• Jake Ellenberger: Suspended until Aug. 27, no contact until Aug. 12 due to lacerations
• George Sullivan: Suspended until Aug. 12, no contact until Aug. 3 due to forehead laceration
• Dominic Waters: Suspended until Aug. 12, no contact until Aug. 3 due to left eyebrow laceration
• Darrell Montague: Suspended until Aug. 12, no contact until Aug. 3 due to lip laceration
