‘TUF Nations Finale’ Results: Walsh Tops Indich in Decision Outcome
Written by Jon Kirschner | @MMAKirschner
Chris Indich and Richard Walsh both made their official UFC debuts today as they squared off in the second bout of the UFC Fight Pass prelims. Both fighters took part of this season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia’.
Chris Indich was quick to get to the center of the octagon but it was Richard Walsh that would implement his gameplan throughout the first. He grinded Indich on the fence to tire him out and used his grappling skills to take the round.
The octagon control continued for Richard Walsh throughout the rest of the fight. Indich’s body shots and leg kicks were constantly getting cut off by Walsh’s jab and he would follow it up by pressing Indich against the fence. Walsh also took him down multiple times and transitioned to some nice spots.
Richard Walsh was awarded the unanimous decision win and improved his professional record to 8-1.
