By BJPENN.COM News - July 30, 2014

The UFC’s performance enhancing drug issue, is near train-wreck proportions.

With a record number of testing failures in 2014, many are wondering how deep-rooted this problem actually is.

In the latest development coming out of Nevada, two new fighters, who took part in the UFC’s international fight week over July 4 weekend, have been tested positive for banned substances.

Kevin Casey, a ‘Ultimate Fighter’ veteran made his return to UFC action at UFC 175 where he knocked out his opponent in 61 seconds. It was the first fight on his second stint as a UFC fighter.

Robert Drysdale is a repeat offender, the unbeaten light-heavyweight fighter previously failed a pre-fight drug test for elevated testosterone ahead of UFC 167 in Nevada. He has now failed his TUF 19 post-fight test for the same thing.

Casey tested positive for the steroid, drostanolone while Drysdal’es T/E ratio was 12-to-1.
