UFC 159’s Nick Catone Forced Off Card, Bout With Head Scratched

Yesterday there was one fighter who missed his contracted weight at the UFC 159 weigh-ins.

That man, was Nick Catone.

Today news has come out, confirmed by the UFC, that Catone has been forced off the card due to being overly dehydrated and unable to compete.

Catone vs. Head was scheduled for the evenings preliminary portion of the card but due to this unfortunate circumstance the bout has been officially removed from todays event.

No word on if this bout will be rescheduled for a later venue or if the UFC will seek a replacement opponent for Head on a future card.
