UFC 164’s Josh Barnett Is Ready To Rip Frank Mir’s Head Off
“I never really paid a whole lot of attention to Frank, particularly or personally. But, I always thought it was fight that would be nice to make happen. Especially because of all of the interest abroad to watch us fight. And then, from my constant hearing of how similar we are or how this fight will turn out a certain way, I like to just step and show you how it’s going to turn out.”
“Well, one, I’m the defending champion. Two, I don’t really know, I don’t really know (where he stands). I’m the kind of guy everyone talks about, what they’d like to see or they want to push all the pieces across the board. I just go out, chop the guy’s head off and bring it back, put it on top of the board and say, ‘What do you want to do now? What do you have next?’ If you tell me I’m fighting for the title, then it will be mine. If you tell me I’m going to fight this other guy, alright, well, then he’s done.”
Former UFC heavyweight champion, Josh Barnett, took to ‘The MMA Hour‘ to discuss his upcoming co-main event against Frank Mir.
The two former champs are slated to face off at UFC 164 this weekend on Pay-Per-View. Who ya got?
