‘UFC 183’ Bonus Report: Leites Pockets Extra $100K

Fight of the Night: Thales Leites (Performance of the Night Winner) vs. Tim Boetsch
Thales Leites looked fantastic in his performance tonight in the octagon. Boetsch almost secured the win in the first round as he caught Leites off guard multiple times, but Leites made a come back in the second round that earned him an extra $100,000! Boetsch continued to strike but once the fight went to the ground, it was all Leites. He threatende to submit Boetsch with an arm triangle but Boetsch did a fantastic job at defending it. Leites was determined to end the fight and trapped Boetsch in another arm triangle. This time, there was no escaping for Boetsch. Leites forced Boetsch to pass out in the hold.

Performance of the Night: Thiago Alves
Thiago Alves looked fantastic in the second round of his fight against Jordan Mein. Mein picked him apart in the opening round and his confidence skyrocketed. He walked into the second round more relaxed and comfortable, but Alves remained fierce and eventually caught Mein off guard with a kick to the body. The kick landed on the stomach of Mein and it drove the air right out of his body. Mein dropped to the ground and proceeded to get pummeled until the referee stepped in.
