UFC 192 Results: Ryan Bader Looks Impressive, Shuts Down Rashad Evans

In the co-main event Ryan Bader took on Rashad Evans.

Bader came out and threw a big overhand punch that barely missed. He then followed up with another big punch. Bader looked smooth early with his striking. Bader kept landing a sneaky left hand, that came up like an uppercut. Evans looked to land a few jabs. He came in and connected with a good right hand before slipping.

Evans was the aggressor, walking Bader down. Evans got him on the cage, came in with a nice combo, then dropped for a takedown. Bader got free and moved away.

In the second round Bader landed a nice right, then left. Bader then landed a solid side kick to the body of Evans. Bader shot in and got a takedown. Evans was able to get up, then got taken down again. He again got up, then they broke away.

Evans walked Bader down, putting his back on the cage. Evans seemed really hesitant with his punches.

In the third it was still Evans moving forward, but unable to land anything. Bader’s jab seems to find a home. He also landed a few big body kicks. Evans just didn’t throw enough and what he did throw was off the mark. Bader shot in for a takedown with about 20 seconds left and got it briefly. Evans got right back up. Bader really showed some good stuff in that fight. Some noticeable ring just on Evans’ part.

RESULT: Bader wins unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
