‘UFC Fight Night 30’ Bonus Winners: Barnatt/Craig, Machida and Musoke

Fight of the Night: Luke Barnatt vs. Andrew Craig
Luke Barnatt and Andrew Craig put on an impressive performance in the preliminary bouts that aired on Facebook. It was so good, in fact, that it was the only preliminary bout to air on Fox Sports 2. Andrew Craig showed a good display of composure throughout the first round, but Barnatt fired back and knocked Craig down twice before submitting him in the second.

Submission of the Night: Nicholas Musoke
UFC newcomer Nicholas Musoke gets to take home more money than he signed up for due to his elite submission skills. Musoke weathered an early storm of aggressive strikes and almost dropped Sakara in the opening minute of their bout. Sakara was eventually postured over his opponent throwing bombs but Musoke had enough wherewithal to transition into an armbar, forcing Sakara to verbally submit.

Knockout of the Night: Lyoto Machida
Lyoto Machida made a successful middleweight debut after knocking out his friend. Normally, that sentence doesn’t sound too kind but the sportsmanship that was shown between Machida and Munoz after the fight was fantastic. Machida landed two body kicks that set up his headkick knockout three minutes into the fight. Munoz dropped straight to the canvas and Machida refused to follow up with extra strikes.
