UFC Fight Night 65 Results: Bec Rawlings Backs Up Trash Talk, Submits Ellis In Round 1

A highly anticipated fight for the fans came up next, with Rowdy Bec Rawlings going toe to toe with Lisa Ellis.

Lisa Ellis came out and secured a takedown almost immediately. Ellis threatened with an armbar but Rawlings eventually freed herself. Rawlings got top position. Both fighters made their way to the feet but Rawlings tried to lock in a standing guillotine.

She lost it, but kept the pressure on, moving forward with strikes, pressuring Ellis to the cage. In the clinch Rawlings unloaded on Ellis until she dropped. Rawlings took advantage and tried to lock up a rear-naked choke. She did and forced Ellis to tap.

RESULTS: Bec Rawlings wins via submission (RNC) at 4:09 of round 1.
