UFC Fight Night 77 Medical Report: 5 fighters could be out for 6 months

UFC Fight Night 77 proved to be an onslaught amongst warriors in the cage as five fighters from the card face mandatory medical suspensions as long as 180 days.

MMA Junkie reported the medical suspensions coming from the Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA, also known as CABMMA, or the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission, following UFC Fight Night 77.

Dan Henderson: Suspended 45 days with no contact during training for 30 days for precautionary reasons

Patrick Cummins: Suspended 60 days with no contact during training for 45 days for precautionary reasons

Anthony Birchak: Suspended 60 days with no contact during training for 45 days for precautionary reasons

Piotr Hallmann: Suspended for 180 days or until cleared by a doctor for a possible nasal fracture

Fabio Maldonado: Suspended 30 days with no contact during training for 21 days for precautionary reasons

Johnny Case: Suspended for 180 days or until cleared by a doctor for a possible right-leg injury

Yan Cabral: Suspended 45 days with no contact during training for 30 days for precautionary reasons

Chas Skelly: Suspended 30 days with no contact during training for 21 days for precautionary reasons

Kevin Souza: Suspended for 180 days or until cleared by a doctor for a possible right-hand injury

Gasan Umalatov: Suspended for 180 days or until cleared by a doctor for a possible right-hand injury

Jimmie Rivera: Suspended 30 days with no contact during training for 21 days for precautionary reasons

Pedro Munhoz: Suspended for 180 days or until cleared by a doctor for a possible broken orbital bone

Bruno Korea: Suspended 30 days with no contact during training for 21 days for precautionary reasons

Every other fighter on the card was given suspensions for 14 days with no contact during training for seven days.
