UFC Fight Night Boston: Dillashaw vs. Cruz Media Conference Call
We’re a week away from UFC Fight Night Boston and it can’t come any sooner.
The anticipation to the answer of the one question surrounding the featherweight title will finally be answered in the octagon. Who is the better champion?
TJ Dillashaw can’t tell the fans what the featherweight division would of been like with a healthy Dominick Cruz in the picture the last 4 years and frankly I don’t think “The Dominator” even cares.
Looking in the past and thinking about the ‘what if’s’ and ‘could of’s’ isn’t going to change what’s in front of Cruz when the octagon door shuts come fight night.
Cruz taking the time off allowed his body to heal and allow his mind to refocus from a non-fighting perspective, which over all allowed him to grow in all aspects.
Dillashaw defended the title twice and stamped has dominance with a fourth round TKO of former champ Renan Barão last summer.
There is zero question that Dillashaw dominated the former Brazilian champ, the main question is how will he respond to a true tactician when it comes to defensive foot work with his movement.
The key to this fight aside from the mental aspect, is how will Dillashaw will respond to the barrage of feints that Cruz will be delivering from not just the angles of his attack but the speed that those feints followed by combinations that will be coming at him.
***Be warned with the video audio, ‘comes in loud not clear’ at high volumes. Most importantly the action starts at the 3:00 minute mark.
