UFC FN 50 Results: Mitrione Comes Out on Top in Heavyweight Collision, Finishes Lewis

Matt Mitrione def. Derrick Lewis by way of KO (Strikes) :41 of Round 1

“Meathead” keeps the ball rolling tonight with another exciting finish on Fox Sports 1.

Mitrione backed Lewis up against the fence and they chose to throw their heavyweight limbs at the same time. Lewis threw a forearm but it was Mitrione’s short right that connected in a major way. Lewis fell to the canvas and Mitrione smelled blood.

Mitrione jumped on a limp Lewis and proceeded to pound his fist into the skull of Lewis and it wasn’t long before the referee pulled Mitrione off.
