UFC FN 60 Results: Miller Frustrated with Loss Against Holloway

By bjpenndotcom - February 14, 2015

Max Holloway

Cole Miller tried to utilize his reach advantage by keeping a safe striking distance, but Holloway was prepared for his opponent’s gameplan and negated the reach with various strategies.

Holloway closed the distance by lunging inside and landing stiff kicks to the body of Miller. Once inside striking distance, Holloway forced a scrap and muscled his way to pushing Miller up against the cage. While in the clinch, he would separate and land level-changing combinations that won him big points in the eyes of the judges.

Miller grew frustrated in the second round when he was headbutted twice. It was clear Holloway did it by accident and neither were truly his fault, but Miller let the incidents upset him and it clearly affected his performance.

Max Holloway def. Cole Miller by way of Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
