UFC FN 60 Results: Lee Picks Up Decision Win Over Prazeres

Michel Prazeres and Kevin Lee saw an exciting opening round, followed by two slower paced rounds that rarely saw a significant shot land.

Prazeres looked for the takedown early and often, but did not find much success throughout the fight. Lee kept his distance and utilized his reach which meant Prazeres had to lunge for a takedown giving Lee plenty of time to defend.

While the fight was standing, it was all Kevin Lee. As previously mentioned he never landed anything knockout worthy, but Lee picked Prazeres apart with jabs and combinations to soften him up over time. Lee threatened a rear naked choke in the last twenty seconds of the bout, but it was not fully locked in and Prazeres was able to make it to the final horn.

It was no surprise when Lee’s hand was raised in victory after the judges’ decision was announced.
