UFC FN 68 Results: Rothwell Chokes Mitrione Out In Under Two Minutes

The heavyweights took to the octagon in the co-main event.

Ben Rothwell tried to touch gloves. Matt Mitrione just stood back and didn’t come forward. Mitrione looked to use his speed and movement. Rothwell caught him with a good punch, then went for the thai clinch. Mitrione put his hands up to prevent the knee. They broke away and threw a few punches.

Mitrione rushed in and tried to basically tackle Rothwell to the ground. Rothwell sprawled out and held on the arm of Mitrione.

Rothwell grabbed a ahold of Mitrione’s neck while he was still trying to stand up from the takedown attempt. Mitrione tried to defend by moving backwards. Rothwell just fell forward, with the choke locked up. As soon as they hit the mat Mitrione began tapping.
