UFC on FOX 14 Results: Bader Gets Close Decision Win Over Davis

Wrestlers Phil Davis and Ryan Bader had a back and forth standup scrap that led to a judges decision. Neither man landed anything significant that could have knocked their opponent out, but they each rode some waves of momentum.

Ryan Bader was confident in his boxing after a long feeling out process. Once he started to loosen up, he lit Davis up with jabs and hooks that caused a mouse to form over his eye. Despite some restricted vision, Davis also loosened up with his striking and caught Bader off guard with some level changing kicks. He attacked the body and head evenly which constantly kept Bader on his toes.

Both men are used to the grinding pace of a wrestling match so there cardio withstood the test of time. They made it to the final horn and neither Bader or Davis looked confident they had won.
