UFC on FOX 14 Results: Taisumov KOs Christodoulou in Round 2

Mairbek Taisumov showcased his striking skills and ability to strike from a long distance. Anthony Christodoulou was making his octagon debut tonight and truly drew the short straw by agreeing to fight Taisumov. Taisumov put on a fantastic first round before finishing the fight in the second.

Taisumov changed levels in the first and kept Christodoulou guessing constantly. Christodoulou was ragdolled to the mat whenever Taisumov wanted him there and never looked like he was in Taisumov’s league. Taisumov took Christodoulou to the ground in the second round and picked him apart with punches before knocking him out. The referee stepped in quickly to make sure Christodoulou did not take additional punishment.
