UFC Matchmaking Department Busy With Five New Fight Bookings
With the year half over, the UFC is rounding out the final bookings for the remainder of the 2013 calendar.
We’ve seen the next several headlining bouts get booked up in the past week or so, but the UFC keeps adding the supporting casts to these shows at a very rapid pace.
Most recently UFC officials have announced the following additions to upcoming fight cards.
Lucas Martins is set to face Remiro Hernandez on the UFC on FOX Sports 1 #3 card set for the Estadio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on September 4th.
Another addition to the UFC’s September 4th show in Brazil comes in the form of a middleweight bout between TUF veteran Tor Treong and Brazil’s Rafael Natal.
The third addition to this fight night event is a featherweight bout between another TUF vet in Sam Sicilia as he will be facing Godofredo Pepey on the evenings preliminary portion of the event.
In another UFC on Fox Sports 1 #3 addition, Keith Wisniewski and Marcelo Guimares will trade leather in a welterweight contest.
The last of the recent fight bookings comes in the form of a UFC 166 lightweight bout. TUF Season 13 winner, Tony Ferguson, makes his long-awaited return to action against Mike Rio.
