UFC Releases First Official Statement Regarding Jon Jones

Now the UFC has released their statement regarding the incident involving Jon Jones on Sunday afternoon.

Jones is currently being sought by the Albuquerque Police Department for questioning pertaining to a hit-and-run where a 20 year old pregnant women was taken to the hospital for minor injures.

The Police have reached out to Jones and is lawyer but have been unable to get in touch with him. He is considered as a suspect at this time.

Here’s what the UFC had to say at this time.

“We are aware that the Albuquerque Police Department is interested in speaking to Jon Jones regarding his possible involvement in a motor vehicle accident. We are in the process of gathering facts and will reserve further comment until more information is available.”
