UFC Strawweight Randa Markos Details Horrific Childhood –– ‘I Hated Life’
UFC strawweight and TUF 20 cast member Randa Markos is currently 1-1 in the UFC and 5-2 overall.
She’s coming off of a win in her last fight, a decision over Aisling Daly back in April. She recently spoke with Sydnie Jones of Bleacher Report and documented a challenging childhood, full of chaos and violence.
In the piece she talked about her childhood, saying that all of her memories are of her father abusing her mother.
“Every holiday was destroyed; every Christmas he blew all of our money on gambling and alcohol, and then come home and put us through hell because he was upset he had no money left.”
“I was a very angry child and teen growing up. I hated life. I was behind in school and kids picked on me because I was socially awkward and nobody knew why.”
Markos had a lot more to say about the situation, you guys can read the full piece right HERE.
