UFC’s Cathal Pendred Wants To Humiliate CM Punk

UFC fighters Cathal Pendred and CM Punk got into a highly publicized Twitter feud a few days back and the effects are still lingering.

After the feud Ireland’s Pendred went on the Irish Mirror and wrote a piece documenting the back and forth with Punk and said in the future he would jump at the chance to fight the former WWE star.

He wrote a lot, but here’s some of the highlights:

“I got myself involved in a heavy Twitter exchange this week – and it could lead to a real business opportunity down the line.”

“A hell of a lot of UFC fighters have been calling him out, trying to organise a fight with him because there’s a lot of bucks in it given he’s such high a profile draw.

“He’s ignored them all, so the fact he got onto me makes me think he might fancy himself against me, which is quite funny in truth.

“I’d love it. It would be a bit of fun. He’ll probably be humiliated on his debut but the UFC will continue to use him to attract more supporters.

“I have my own fight in October to prepare for but if something comes of this fight down the line, I’ll jump at it.”

Would you guys be interested in this fight happening? Punk is still training preparing for his debut and Pendred has a fight with Tom Breese on Oct. 24 in Dublin, Ireland, but after that who knows what will happen.
