“We don’t have, at the present time, any mandatory treatment program. But 100 percent, any athlete that tests positive for these types of recreational drugs, we will do everything to provide the option to provide those resources for our athletes.”

“My message would be to get on the phone and give me a call. I’m here because we are separating ourselves from the administration of the anti-doping policy. I think that frees me up to be an advocate for our guys, and I hope I’m somebody that they can trust with questions, whether they be (PED-related) or recreational-drug related. I want to be that guy here on the inside of the UFC that athletes recognize is looking out for them – not out to get them.”

UFC Vice President of Athlete Health and Performance Jeff Novitzky, told MMAJunkie that there is currently no treatment plan in place for fighters who test positive for recreational drugs, but did say any fighter can give him a call if they have a problem.
