Vitor Belfort: ‘I’m the happiest man in the world’

Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort reminded everybody why he has fought for UFC gold several times before when he stepped into the octagon at “UFC Fight Night 77”. Belfort knocked out Dan Henderson for the second time in a row in front of his fellow Brazilians to secure his first victory since November 2013.
Fans were clamoring for “The Phenom” to retire after his rough loss to Chris Weidman at “UFC 187” earlier this year, but he proved he still has some gas in the tank with his quick win on Saturday night. The feeling out process lasted a long time for Belfort, but when he felt the time was right he fired off a high kick that sent Henderson stumbling backwards and it wasn’t long before the referee waved off the fight. Belfort was ecstatic after the win and claimed to be the happiest man in the world in the video above!
There was debate whether or not the stoppage was justified, but the referee’s main concern is the SAFETY of the fighters. Do you think Belfort deserved that win? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
