At the end of last year, it was announced that Nate Quarry and Jon Fitch, among other fighters, would be filing a class-action lawsuit against the UFC.

Since recieving his lifetime ban, Wanderlei Silva has been extremely out-spoken against the UFC, releasing several rant videos regarding how the UFC treats fighters.

This weekend, Silva, Quarry, and Fitch joined the NFL Players Association, in what appears to be an attempt to gain understanding, and eventually form a fighters union. Wanderlei even met with NFLPA Executive Director Demaurice Smith, who he says is “The most powerful sports union leader”.

Wanderlei Silva learning from the best, Demaurice Smith, NFLPA Executive Director. The most powerful sports union Leader in the most powerful sports union in the world. "Thank you for all the support from the NFLPA, you are an example of how all people and all athletes should be treated, with respect and dignity. One day we will be there too.
