Wanderlei Silva vows to smack Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is certainly one of the most polarizing fighters on the UFC roster.

The brash Irishman has made quite a few enemies on the UFC roster due to his trash talking. Along the way he has certainly stepped on some toes with statements he’s made.

Following his UFC 194 win over Jose Aldo it appears as if McGregor has yet another fighter gunning for him. Only this time it isn’t in the Octagon.

Wanderlei Silva released a video in which he stuck up for Aldo, while threatening McGregor.

“And this promotion, if they don’t give (Aldo) the immediate rematch, we will criticize them,” Silva said. “How? Everybody saw it was an accident, this a–hole was lucky. And when I meet this guy, for everything he said about Jesus, I will slap this motherf–ker in the face. You can’t do that. You can’t play with our God. When I meet you, raise your hand because you’re getting slapped in the face, you punk.”

While we’re pretty sure a fight between McGregor and Silva will never happen, we’d be willing to bet McGregor will respond sooner rather than later.
