Gabi Garcia is one of the top female Jiu-Jitsu practitioners in the world. Given that, there is naturally a lot of hype surrounding her MMA debut on New Years Eve at Rizin against Lei’D Tapa.
In the video above you can see a preview for Garcia’s debut that includes footage of her sparring with WMMA legend Cris Cyborg.
Since Ronda Rousey lost to Holly Holm at UFC 193, the hopes of a potential Rousey-Cyborg superfight have died down, leading to Cyborg taking another fight at 145 rather than looking to cut down to 135 to potentially fight Rousey.
