WATCH! Conor McGregor always dreamed of giving back to those that have supported him
Check out this in-depth interview with UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Gareth A. Davies. “The Notorious” talks about his biggest moment in his career to date, winning the UFC interim featherweight title against Chad Mendes at UFC 189.
“This is the one where I can do what I’ve been dreaming of doing,” McGregor said about his big payday from UFC 189. “Giving back to the people who have given so much to me.”
On the flipside, McGregor says he now can also give himself the what he has worked so hard for.
“Make no mistake about it. It’s a beautiful life. I live good now. I live damn damn good. I live like I should, like I am supposed to, like a young 27-year-old world champion should live.”
McGregor will look to pad his wallet with another big payday at UFC 194 when he faces Jose Aldo to unify the featherweight title on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. If McGregor can topple Aldo who is ranked at the top of the UFC’s pound-for-pound ranking, there is no doubt that he will be able to give much more back to his support system and as he says, live the life a world champion should.
Do you think McGregor will walk away from UFC 194 victorious? Or does the number one UFC ranked pound-for-pound king Jose Aldo have too much for the interim champion?
