WATCH! TV anchors in disbelief of Holly Holm’s championship character

By Russell Ess - November 19, 2015

Newly crowned UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm has been in the spotlight ever since her shocking win over Ronda Rousey at UFC 193. Holm made an appearance on FOX 11 Los Angeles and won over the TV personalities, Maria Sansone and Araksya Karapetyan who were a part of the interview along with Steve Edwards who has been a long time fan of Holm.

Edwards brings up Holm’s boxing match where she lost by a devastating knockout coming from the hands of Anne Sophie Mathis. Holm talks about how she came from the loss and went on to win a rematch with Mathis.

“I’m thinking if I don’t give myself this opportunity to rematch, I would regret it for the rest of my life…there’s a building time after that, and I learned that about myself, and about other people,” Holm said.

Sansone and Karapetyan who were more familiar with Rousey with her past appearances on the show were overwhelmed by the amiable character of Holm, who showcased her world class combative skills over the weekend.

What type of character do you think will end up resonating with fans more? Will Holm’s pleasant personality be able to shoot her stardom to the likes of Ronda Rousey?

Give us your thoughts on what type of personality you connect with in the comments!
