Werdum: ‘Cain’s Knee Surgery More Strategy Than Injury’
“I’m sure Cain had an injured knee. No doubt about it. But, it wasn’t a surgery that needed to be done right away. It was minimal, very simple. Easy. I think that it was part of his strategy, because he knew that I had the will to win and that I was going to win. Beat him like I beat Mark Hunt. That didn’t deter me and I’m even more pumped for this fight, because I want to be the champion. There can be only one, and that one is me.”
Fabricio Werdum is pulling no punches in the lead up to this weekend’s highly-anticipated UFC 188 event.
