White Thinks Rousey/Cyborg Could Rake in 2 Million PPV Buys
If Ronda Rousey and Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino ever met in the UFC octagon to settle their blood feud, there is no doubt that it would crush anything the UFC has done in recent years. However, UFC President Dana White thinks it could surpass 2 Million PPV buys.
White appeared on “The Jim Rome Show” and was asked about the possibility of the dream match becoming a reality. “I don’t know [who wins], I think that’s why the fight is so exciting,” he stated. “There’s no denying that Cyborg’s a beast, man. She’s tough, and many people, believe, including me, that Ronda’s the best in the world and the best female fighter ever. So it’s one of those fights that’s very intriguing. And I’ll tell you this, Jim, when that fight happens I guarantee you that fight does over two million pay-per-view buys. It will be massive.”
Ronda Rousey is set to defend her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship against Bethe Correia at UFC 190. If Rousey can make it past her and retain the title, who would you like to see Ronda Rousey fight next?
