White: UFC 200 would be “cutting it too close” for Rousey

While fight fans have been hopeful that we would get to see a Holly Holm vs. Ronda Rousey rematch at UFC 200, it appears the odds have decreased significantly with this recent bit of information.

It’s no secret that Rousey planned to film several movies before returning to the Octagon, however UFC President Dana White revealed to Yahoo Sports Kevin Iole that the filming of the ‘Roadhouse’ remake has been pushed back, lowering Rousey’s chances of fighting at UFC 200.

“The filming of the movie got pushed back. She could do both, but the question is, should she do both? She could do both, but why should she? The filming is in a time frame where she’d finish before 200, but it would be cutting it too close.”
