White: ‘Why would Sonnen ever come back?’

UFC President Dana White spoke to media members during a UFC 174 media scrum about Chael Sonnen’s retirement, as well as the potential possibility of Sonnen returning to the Octagon.

“If Chael came back to me and said he wants to fight again I’d go, ‘Dude, why?; The offers that this guy gets every day for stuff, he couldn’t possibly do everything that he gets offered. There’s no point in him fighting anymore.

“I think he went out on his own terms. He’s like, ‘I’m gonna choose my personal health.’ There’s no way. I just don’t see it happening. What makes sense other than Wanderlei? And Wanderlei’s going to be gone for a long time.”
