Friday morning, in Japan at the Shoot Boxing S-Cup 2017, famed JiuJitsu practitioner Gabi Garcia competed in her first kickboxing bout against 45 year old Megumi Yabushita, an experienced kickboxer and MMA fighter with a kickboxing record of 1-10-1, and an MMA record of 19-23.
Garcia, who has nearly a 1 foot height advantage to go along with her nearly 100 pound weight advantage, landed two illegal blows in the match, forcing the referee to stop the fight and declare it a no contest.
The second illegal soccer kick, which forced the referee to stop the fight, is reminiscent of the brutal knockout suffered by Roger Huerta in an MMA bout several years ago.

The two met in September where Garcia won the fight in less than a minute after dropping Carrizoza twice in a matter of seconds with the referee calling an end to the fight at 30 seconds of the very first round.
