The concept of training with one’s eyes closed is one that isn’t all that uncommon in JiuJitsu. Often times professors make their students drill, if not even roll, with their eyes closed during class in an effort to make them more aware of their opponent’s movements.

With that being said, one black belt took this a step further and wound up competing in a No Gi JiuJitsu tournament blindfolded! Daniel O’Brien, who has competed in EBI, not only won his first match, but submitted 3 of his 4 opponents before ultimately losing in the 4th round.
