VIDEO | Taekwondo black belt vs. Muay Thai champion
It’s no secret that UFC was originally formed with the intention of settling the argument of which martial art was truly the best. As we’ve stated countless times in articles, while nearly all MMA fighters today are well versed in multiple martial art disciplines, the topic of style vs style matchups in MMA is always a hot topic.
In the video above, you can see a 7th degree Taekwondo black belt take on a Muay Thai champion in a kickboxing match. Interestingly enough, the 7th degree Taekwondo black belt is an accomplished kickboxer with a professional record of 80-2 to go along with a professional boxing record of 19-2.
While the black belt, Dale Cook, fights off the attacks of Changpuek Kiatsongrit initially, it doesn’t take long for the Muay Thai legend to begins to land clean shots before then ultimately managing to finish his opponent later in the fight.
